I first started training with Jamiel a year ago after I had signed up for a marathon and other than running I didn’t have any idea what to do to train for it. I also avoided a lot of the machines and equipment in the gym because I lacked confidence and sometimes found the gym intimidating. Training with Jamiel opened up my eyes to all the ways I could train and the importance of not just focusing on my legs for running. I learnt how to use the machines properly and safely and felt more confident to train by myself, especially having a clear plan to follow each week. Working with Jamiel has meant I get so much more out of my gym membership and now I’m training with him again for my next event; a Hyrox.

I had my taster session with Jamiel and straight away I knew I had approached the right person. He knew exactly when to push me further while still exploring what my limits were. He quickly found my weaknesses and strengths and proposed a plan for my desired fitness progression.
I signed up for a 10 week plan tailored for endurance and strength training for Hybrid games, Bootcamp ultimate games and Hyrox. Jamiel helped me to achieve a time of 1.45 at the Hybrid games, 1.49 at the London Hyrox event (a whopping 40 minute PB) and helped me to win female singles champion at a Bootcamp games event.
